Cemetery
Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery was created in 1927 as a non-sectarian cemetery and was incorporated as a non-profit in 1985. Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery is a member of the New Jersey State Cemetery Association.
- The cemetery’s maintenance and preservation trust fund guarantees that all graves will be perpetually cared for which includes the mowing of the grass on a regular basis.
- Each grave is sold for the interment of one person; however, the owner is permitted one additional interment of cremated remains per grave, or two cremated remains per grave. Two full casket burials in one grave is not permitted.
- All regular interments require a concrete vault with a dome lid to prevent the future collapse of the grave space. The cemetery does not require the use of an urn vault for the interment of cremated remains.
In addition to single graves with individual granite markers, Laurel Memorial Park offers four and six grave monument lots where a large family monument is permitted. We also have a designated couples section where each set of two graves is marked by a single granite stone.
